Galloway Farmhouse Cheese, based in Sorbie has won awards for both its ewe cheese and its goat cheese. In 2009 they started offering a cow’s milk cheese - the milk comes from Finn McCreath’s organic herd in Garlieston - now that’s local cheese.
At Beeswing, near Dumfries, Loch Arthur uses organic Ayrshire milk to make a delicious Farmhouse Cheddar and a lovely medium soft rind-washed Criffel.

Our cheeses are regularly found in the pages of foodie magazines as Must Haves for a cheese board, whatever the occasion.

There’s Colston Basset Stilton, Montgomery Cheddar, Mrs Kirkhams’ Lancashire,  Stinking Bishop, Cornish Yarg, and Cashel Blue from Co Tipperary to name but a few.

To round off our collection we use a smattering of European cheeses such as Brie de Meaux, Manchego, Parmesan, Cabrales, Camembert,  and Gruyere to give our customers the best possible selection.
The Ravenstone Deli only stocks cheese created by artisan cheesemakers, using traditional methods of production. We cut to order so the choice of how much or how little is yours.
